Our Private Sewing Lessons are perfect for anyone needing support with any sewing project. You will have individual support and guidance.
 
Suitable for any level, from complete beginner to advanced.
Whether you need help understanding your sewing machine or overlocker, or learning new sewing technique, we can help you gain the clarity and confidence to achieve your creative dreams. 
 
Bring any sewing project along, not just dressmaking and let us help you.
You will be able to book as many sessions as you feel you need to achieve your project or when you feel ready, you can join our regular Sewing / Dressmaking Workshops.
In the past we have had people making dresses, cosplay outfits, altering existing clothes and more! We love to help you, whatever your project.
 
Need to hire a Sewing Machine or Overlocker to help you finish your project? You can hire these from us. 
Just let us know before your session so that we can get it set up for you. 
 
Workshops must be booked within 3 months from date of purchase.  If you select the "Book Now - Date to be Confirmed" option, you will be asked to provide 3 dates and times you are available for your workshop at the checkout.
Workshops run in three sessions: mornings 10am - 12pm, afternoons 1pm - 3pm or early evenings 4pm - 6pm. After booking we will be in touch to confirm the date via email. Keep an eye out for it and please check your spam folder.

Workshops must be booked within 3 months from date of purchase. You will be asked to provide 3 dates you are available when booking which we will then confirm after booking.

If you do not arrange your workshop within 3 months from purchase, your workshop booking will expire. You will not be entitled to a refund or be able to transfer it to a future date.

If you cancel your place at least 2 weeks before the date of the workshop you will receive a refund, but a *£25 admin fee for any Adults workshops will be retained by Make-it Happen.

*£12 for Children’s Workshops.

If you cancel within 1 week of the date we will only be able to give a refund if your place can be filled.

No refunds will be given if you cancel 24 hours prior to the workshop start time

or if you fail to show.

Our Workshops may run if we have 2 or more people, therefore if your workshop does not have sufficient numbers we may contact you to offer you an alternative date.

If Make-it Happen cancels the workshop a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

Please be aware the workshop artists retain the intellectual property to their own ideas.

You cannot go into business making, or running workshops showing copies of the artist’s work.

You can however use the ideas for personal use and with your own students, if you are a teacher.
