If your child is new to sewing then these workshops are perfect to help develop their sewing machine skills, understanding and confidence whilst being safe.

Maybe they received a sewing machine from Santa and are excited to get sewing and making, but they are unsure where to start and what to do.

Or maybe they are showing an interest in sewing, but don't have a sewing machine yet and would like to just give it a try first before you make that purchase.

Every month we will cover new skills whilst making different projects. There will be a wide range of projects and your child will be able to select what they make from the list provided, choosing what colours, fabrics and decorations to use.

Children will be able to develop an understanding of what their sewing machine can do, its functions and also basic trouble shooting.

Don't worry if your child doesn't have their own sewing machine. You can hire a sewing machine from us should your child not have their own. An equipment and materials list will be provided upon booking as we feel it is important for your child to choose exactly what colours and patterns of fabric they use for their sewing projects.

Our groups are small and so we guarantee that they will get all the guidance they need and there is the opportunity for them to be set extra sewing activities to complete at home to develop their sewing skills even further!

This workshop will run on the second Saturday of every month from 10am - 1pm. *** PLEASE NOTE September's session will be held from 9:30am - 12:30pm***
