Learn how to create a beautiful flower using the wonderful Free Motion Embroidery technique and Dissolvable Fabric.

In this workshop, we will be creating our designs in stitch on the dissovable fabric.

When finished, we will wash away the fabric to leave behind an intricate web of stitching. Your finished flower could be turned it into a brooch or attached to a wire stem.

This is a fun technique, with so many possibilities!

Suitable for anyone with previous free motion embroidery experience.

Your sewing machine will need to be compatible for Free motion embroidery. Please check prior to booking or ask us for advice.
Please bring your sewing machine, general sewing equipment and any fabric scraps, buttons etc if you’d like as you will be able to use these to enhance your flower.

Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine, you can hire one from us.

All materials and refreshments provided.

Workshops must be booked within 3 months from date of purchase. If you select the "Book Now - Date to be Confirmed" option, you will be asked to provide 3 dates and times you are available for your workshop at the checkout.

Workshops run in three sessions: mornings 10am - 12pm, afternoons 1pm - 3pm or early evenings 4pm - 6pm. After booking we will be in touch to confirm the date via email. Keep an eye out for it and please check your spam folder.

Workshops must be booked within 3 months from date of purchase. You will be asked to provide 3 dates you are available when booking which we will then confirm after booking.

If you do not arrange your workshop within 3 months from purchase, your workshop booking will expire. You will not be entitled to a refund or be able to transfer it to a future date.

If you cancel your place at least 2 weeks before the date of the workshop you will receive a refund, but a *£25 admin fee for any Adults workshops will be retained by Make-it Happen.

*£12 for Children’s Workshops.

If you cancel within 1 week of the date we will only be able to give a refund if your place can be filled.

No refunds will be given if you cancel 24 hours prior to the workshop start time

or if you fail to show.

Our Workshops may run if we have 2 or more people, therefore if your workshop does not have sufficient numbers we may contact you to offer you an alternative date.

If Make-it Happen cancels the workshop a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

Please be aware the workshop artists retain the intellectual property to their own ideas.

You cannot go into business making, or running workshops showing copies of the artist’s work.

You can however use the ideas for personal use and with your own students, if you are a teacher.
